The objective is to provide long term climatic data to the Prince William Sound Science Center for use in determining general climate conditions. NRCS will install and perform twice annual field maintenance visits. Installation of SNOTEL equipment at Esther Hatchery, Chenega Bay, Seal Island, Nuchek, Tatitlek and Copper River will provide the Prince William Sound Science Center with precipitation, solar radiation, relative humidity, temperature and wind data in the Sound. The data are made available through a computer link.
